We have Cherry Tomatoes coming out of our ears. 

 My DH & LM picked over 30# the other night and we have MORE coming. My husband gave some away and now we will save some for the winter. 

I call these “Sun Dried” because it sounds so much better that “Dehydrated”.

Here is how to do it:

WASH THEM AND CUT INTO HALF OR QUARTERS

PUT ONTO DEHYDRATOR TRAYS

(You can out Basil on them at this time, but it doesn’t seem to make much difference to me.)

LET DRY 24—??? (or more) HOURS. 

 MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT “SQUISHY” AT ALL.

Here’s a couple of pics of the finished product.

These taste like candy if you eat plain but try them in Tomato Sauces like Spaghetti.

Put on Pizza

What Else? 

If you have a good recipe that uses sun-dried tomatoes, PLEASE tell me!!

Make SURE you put these in an airtight container and stick in the refrigerator.  I think they will last a LONG time.

This is SUPER easy and so WORTH it!!
