Here is a SUPER EASY recipe –Oven Roasted Asparagus from “thepioneerwoman”.
She has a good pictorial and recipe but basically you clean the asparagus, drizzle olive oil in the pan.
Put the asparagus in it and drizzle more olive oil on it.
Then you can season it with S & P, balsamic vinegar, garlic salt…whatever you think would be good.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, kind of “shake” the pan at the halfway 5 minute mark.
I put my garlic bread and asparagus in the oven at the same time….turn the bread and shake the asparagus…
The asparagus will be “al dente”…not mushy.
MMMM!!! I love asparagus!!
