This is what LM wants for his B-day cake. I will make it on Tuesday since his birthday is 2 days before we leave for vacation….don’t want DH to eat it all!!
Delicious Lemon Cake (see pictures below)
1–Lemon Cake mix (bake according to directions on box) 13 X 9 cake pan
2–Cans Eagle Bran Condensed Milk
1–8oz. bowl Cool Whip
1–Cup Lemon Juice
Cool cake completely before frosting. Turn upside down on plastic cutting board, or plastic/wax paper covered platter.
Mix: 1 can Eagle Bran w/ 1 cup Lemon Juice. Poke holes in top of cake and drizzle 1/2 of this mixture over the top (fill in the holes).
Blend the other 1/2 of mixture with 1 can Eagle Bran milk, stir well. Fold in Cool Whip. (Make sure it is well blended). Frost the cake with this mixture. Chill before serving and keep refrigerated.
Cover with plastic wrap (After frosting has set).
This seems like a lot of frosting, but pour it all on…the more the better!
