Chocolate Stuff
Crust: 1 Cup Flour
1 Cup butter
1/2 Cup Pecans (or walnuts)
** Combine and smear into a 9 x 9 pan or 9″ pie pan
Bake 350° for about 15 minutes (or until golden)
Let cool COMPLETELY (you can “chop” the crust , makes it easier to spoon out)
Filling:
8 oz Cream Cheese (room temp)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup Cool Whip
** Combine these 3 ingredients
**Layer onto crust with:
1 box Chocolate instant pudding (Mixed according to directions)
Layer with filling and top with the rest of Cool Whip (& nuts if desired).
Refrigerate a couple of hours before serving
I love this! One of my favorite desserts! I just may have to make this for our Superbowl party!
I’m pretty sure this is what Mom makes a lot but she calls it Four Layer Delight.
I LOVE this stuff. It’s what I almost always want for my birthday. When I had Jaxson, my best friend made me a batch in a big oversize casserole pan (like those foil ones) and I think I ate all but about 3 pieces of it myself! IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO Good! -Annie
