This past month we have read many things but the ones that come to mind are, ”Journey to Nowhere”, this was a great book, although LM found it boring and I read the last half of it by myself. Currently, we are reading “Jack Plank Tells Tales”, by Natalie Babbitt. (Same author as “Tuck Everlasting”). It’s about an ex-pirate, trying to look for a job, but has a story /excuse for every job that comes his way.
LM does read his bible every morning, without me having to tell him to do so. I am proud of him for that.
We, as a family have watched the movies, “Jungle to Jungle”, “Rookie of the Year”, “Addams Family”, and “Astro Boy”. They are all pretty good.
My husband and I have watched ”Angels & Demons”…pretty good, we saw it first at the theatre, but it is good the 2nd time around because you can kind of figure it out as you go. A very complex story.
We watched parts of “Ray Charles’, with Jamie Foxx and “Hold the Line”, with Reese Witherspoon & “ you know who”…I don’t know how to spell his name…the one that plays Johnny Cash…yeah, that one. Those are pretty good, we’ve seen them before and we were busy doing things around the house, so we didn’t get to see all of them.
