The book the two of us are reading right now is “Tuck Everlasting “ by Natalie Babbitt. I love it, he didn’t at first, but now that we are almost finished with it, he does ike it and it is beautifully written. It describes things very …elegantly? should I say? I’m not a very good critique writer…but I love the way this one is worded. We will be ordering the movie before long.
We have read most of the “Boxcar Children” books by Chandler-Warner. They are very good. And there are over 100 of them. We just read a revision of Swiss Family Robinson, one that was alot easier to read and not the “Old English” version.
He has been reading the “Melvin Beederman” series by Greg Trine and he also likes the “Pirate School” by Brian James , the ”Jack Stahlwart” Series by Elizabeth Singer-Hunt, “My Wierd School Daze” series and “My Weird School” series by Dan Gutman.
Movies we have watched as a family lately are:
The Karate Kid part I & II, The Goonies, The Good Boy, Inspector Gadget. He’s even liking, “The Road to Utopia” starring Bob Hope & Bing Crosby.
