It’s so bittersweet to remember a loved one that is no longer with us. I love thinking about them and all the fun memories I had. Their smiling face and gentle ways. What a great cook and when he got angry, and telling all his stories and making kids happy.
But it makes me miss them so much I want to cry…
Happy Birthday Daddy.
Just in case you haven’t heard this story: Not to be politically incorrect, but back in the 40′s the “Gypsies” had a reputation of traveling in & out of towns, taking things that didn’t belong to them and then leaving town. My grandma told the story that when the “Gypsies” came to town, when daddy was a little boy, she would make him stay inside so they wouldn’t “steal” him because he was such a “pretty” boy, with olive skin and green eyes. I love that story.

I love the blog you posted on Uncle Bill. HE WAS A GREAT MAN. I loved him dearly. Loved the summers we spent with you all. Its one of the best meomiries I have growing up as a kid. I had the best times there. The peach fights with the neighbors, cutting the neighbors dogs hair. Even when we were in trouble he would say what he had to say and 5 minutes later it was over and forgotten FUN times when he took us driving and went to the bad part of town and scared me and Patrick half to death. Oh LYNETTEHE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. YOU all showed up for KRISTINAS FUNERAL ON A MOMENTS NOTICE. He was truly an awesome Uncle and Dad…..mary
Thanks Mary, I know he will always be in our hearts! ~L
